Ben Waters : I don't know about either of those yet! I might be able to comment in a few years time though :) hopefully.
Lisa Owens : were you in the oxide and nutrino video ( bound for the reload) coz i swear its you???
felicity : Was that you in the Oxide Neutrino video for Bound 4 Da Reload?? If so, how did you end up being in that?
Ben Waters : It is me, yes it is. I get around! It was just one of those things I auditioned for. A friend of mine suggested me to the directors, who were twins and they both direct together - it was really weird. They are now two of my very best friends.

Ben Waters : The tattoo is real on my left shoulder - it's a dragon biting it's tail. It's got the Chinese character for the dragon on it because that's the symbol for the year I was born, 1976. Well if you were watching tonight then you'd know that we do get it together, I'm sure I'm going to get letter bombs about that! I am a Libra.

Ben Waters : No, I'm not... I'm a really horrible nasty person!

daria : Hi Ben, how did you get into acting and how old were you when you decided to go into drama?
Ben Waters : The first job I did was when I was 7 years old. Then I went to Stage School and just got onto the Agency at the Stage School and I've been plodding around since then, doing little jobs here and there.
Trillian : Did you originally read for the part of Rob? How did you think the audition went?
Ben Waters : As with most auditions I came home and thought it had gone really badly. We did a pilot two years ago and the people who were in the pilot were Paul, who plays Jamie and Emily who, plays Sooz. Nothing happened for like two years. I got a call when I was in Canada on another job saying 'Come back to England!'
martin : what's your favourite part about being in as if?
Ben Waters : The people really. We've all become really close and really really good friends, and the crew and everyone they have all pulled their weight, they are all fantastic.
good2kiss : how did you feel when rob was getting beaten up by his dad was it emotional for you to act it out?
Ben Waters : I'm not a method actor, I try and be as natural as possible. I guess it is emotional when you are playing it, but as soon as I get home I forget about it, I'm not the type of person to carry it around with me.
Jenny : Who is your favourite actor?
Ben Waters : I don't really have one particular favourite actor, but probably Gary Oldman, I'd like my career to go that kind of way.
whitedove : Have you had any offers from Hollywood yet? What were you doing in Canada?
Ben Waters : Ah ha... I did a film with a Hollywood producer in England, called Greenwich Meantime, (out in your video store now ...hehe). In Canada I was doing a sci-fi TV show called Starhunter, I was playing the bodyguard to the final prophet of the almighty Vahuti.

Mazza : Do you skate in real life, or have you picked it up for the show, oh and urm, nice skooter?
As_If_RULES : do u perform any real xtreme sports like in todays show(in skate parks and stuff)?
Ben Waters : They wanted me to skateboard and I do skate a little, but I'm not brilliant. So the scooter actually belongs to me. So I'm much better on it, although I have dodgy ankles from doing kung-fu as a kid. I love snow boarding and I'm into pretty much anything like that. I like being on wheels!
nadia : are you any good at kung-fu?
Ben Waters : I've been doing it since I was about 8 or 9, so I know a few moves. It's all about the breathing techniques.
Alexandr : If Sasha and Sooz were people in real life who would you choose to go out with?
Ben Waters : Oh my god! I hope they're not logged in!

Ben Waters : I get on really well with both of them, so it would be impossible to choose between them. They both have very different qualities.
Laura_Bizkit : what is your favourite bands? and What style of music do you like?
Ben Waters : I'm into rap in a big way. I love the Spooks at the moment.
Donna Lopez : who do u admire most in this world and why?!?!?
Ben Waters : I admire Bruce lee, he's my hero. He's very philosophical and on the level, he's great and very profound. I don't really like kung-fu movies that much though, but in his books he's very profound.
Ria : Who would you most like to work with?
Ben Waters : Gary Oldman, definitely. Also the Coen brothers, and the Wachowski brothers too, who made The Matrix.
Anon : would you ever do a show at the RSC like Orlando (Alex) did? do you want to do Shakespeare?
CJay : Have u ever done any stage acting?
Ben Waters : I'd love to do Shakespeare, but I went to Stage school, not drama school, so I find it hard to get seen for plays. But I love Shakespeare and read it all the time. I did a world tour with The Who and I played the bellboy in Quadraphenia, in the stage version that is.
Ross : You mentioned Bruce Lees' books - who else do you read?
Ben Waters : I don't read novels at all, I like factual books. I read philosophy and text books on martial arts. I love those, old or new, I have an extensive library on martial arts.

Ben Waters : Um... my mum.

Ben Waters : I used to go out with a girl and leave notes around for her, that's not too romantic though, but I just took my girlfriend to Egypt for Christmas, which was great.

Ben Waters : I'd like to carry on working and do some more movies, I'm doing a movie now called Reverb about a guy that keeps on repeating his day, like Groundhog Day but more of a drama. It was very low budget though, and I didn't get paid for it.
