What a week of documentaries on television!!

Tonight is journalist Jon Ronson's film Reverend Death - on Channel 4 at 10pm .

On Tuesday it's a new film by Sue Bourne, who directed the recently very well received My Street for Cutting Edge. This One Life Special: Mum and Me, is about Sue's Mum who has Alzheimer's, and her relationship with her daughters. It's an affectionate portrait of the last 3 years, as her condition worsens, and everyone learns to stay cheerful nevertheless - BBC1 10:35pm

And on Thursday there is a chance to watch Kim Longinotto's film about a school for kids that others have given up on, and the remarkable workers there - Hold Me Tight, Let me Go - BBC4 10pm.

I'll also be catching the Cutting Edge beforehand, 13 Kids and Wanting More. It's directed by the very sensitive filmmaker Clare Richards, who won award nomiations for her directing debut Disabled and Looking for Love.
