If you haven't heard yet, our documentary show Snap! continues its national tour on Thursday January 24th in my beautiful home town of Leeds. And again, it's free and it's in a lovely venue - the Brudenell Social Club in Hyde Park, which if you know Leeds, you'll know is a very special place indeed. The event starts at 7pm, with DJing from gojonnygogogo, with the FourDocs ans 3MW films from 8pm and then documentary chat into the night.

We're doing this one with the kind help of Screen Yorkshire, whose people will also be there to talk to you about docs opportunities in the region. So Yorkshire, come one, come all. I'm very excited to be back.

So, for the uninitiated, what's Snap!? The basic thing is that Snap! is a celebration of short documentaries. We had a sell out event in London in May 2007, and now we are roaming the country to show film makers and fans a special selection of FourDocs and 3 Minute Wonder. The short docs are all funny or moving or pretty, and confidently playful with form. We are going to screen them from a projector in an old fashioned venue and provide some free drinks and connected people to chat with about your own projects. We can also tell you how to submit your films to FourDocs, and pitches to 3MW, and get in on the Channel 4 talent ladder.
