It's a bit strange writing these after the event, but it means the films are on this week...

We left Wanderlay with a polaroid of him on his bus and it feels very much like the end now.

We drive back to Ariquemes and almost run out of petrol. Our next two hours are spent trying to clean the car. We do eventually find somewhere to clean the undercarriage and a great job they do too. A young kid working there wonders if Ben is retarded because he is helping with the vacuum cleaning without saying a word.
He then asks 'Why would you want to film in Machadinha?'.

We're shattered by the time we get to Porto Velho. Leandro passes out immediately. I go to the bank and get the last section of his payment. He leaves at 2am. It was great to work with him again. He really did a lot in making these films what they are.

Ben and I try and shop in the morning, but there is nothing. I buy a jar of honey and some brazil nuts. Then catch our flight.

It's been great doing these films with Century behind me. I couldn't have asked for more support of grace. It's just been the internal pressure that have made these films stressful. That I want them to like these films and my work has made it harded than it could have been.

If we can mark our personality, style and approach on the films, then there is nothing more than i can do.
