Marcus has become too territorial over Noirin, she was foolish to start massaging him & sitting on his lap etc. after she knew that he fancied her, she obviously leads men on, gives them the wrong signals, she's old enough to realise that men are incapable of having platonic relationships with women whom they fancy. Noirin does not strike me as being at all naive, she knows the effect she has on men & should stop giving them false hope & flirting with them. She even boasted on her audition VT that 50 men hit on her on a typical night out and they're always falling in love with her.
It's usually girls with low self-esteem who behave like this and yet she seems quite confident so I don't understand why she keeps making the same mistakes.
It would be interesting to know if Marcus has any close female friends on the outside because he doesn't strike me as the type of man who would, he has such an oversized ego that he's convinced himself that Noirin is only being reticent because she's in the Big Brother house and that she'd want a romantic relationship with him if they were in the real world.
He's like a slightly more perceptive Sree...but only just! Apart from not telling Noirin that he's in love with her, his behaviour is almost identical.
Next she'll be saying "It's not you...it's me" Poor girl, oh it's tough being beautiful.
When will blokes learn that most women enjoy having purely platonic friendships with men.
After knowing her for five days! And he has the gaul to say it has nothing to do with her looks. Noirin was absolutely right when she said he was 'in lust' not love. Worryingly immature behaviour though for a man of 25.
Thank goodness he's going on friday, hopefully we'll see a far more relaxed, less irritable Noirin - as long as Marcus keeps his distance and doesn't become too sleazy.
Most of what Sree said is a deliberate and contrived attempt to appear better, more sensitive and thoughtful than he actually is, it's all a big act and so transparent. He is a nauseating little boy.
The only thing he really cares about is himself and his deluded, over inflated ego.
God help any of them who attempt to bully her! At least she is more than capable of defending herself (even though she has lost 15 of her 17 boxing matches).
Angel is a very talented and versatile woman, they'll all be feeling very foolish when they see just what she has accomplished throughout her life.
They are a spiteful bunch and clearly trying to influence eachother with the nominations because they see Angel as a threat.
He may be boring, but at least Rodrigo is fair and provides the voice of reason, I admire him for speaking his mind and defending her.
Noirin does spend time with Siavash and Lisa as well, it's not her fault that Marcus wants her in the same way that Sree did. She's just in the unfortunate position of being the only relatively normal and single girl in the house and because she's attractive and fairly pleasant she's bound to become an object of desire.
Perhaps Sree should challenge Marcus to a teeth-brushing contest and teach him how to clean his teeth for two whole minutes, two to three times a day...now that WOULD be a challenge for 'Mr Dogbreath'!
After seeing how excited he gets when Rodrigo or Charlie embrace and cuddle him, I'm beginning to think he'd stand a better chance switching sides! Perhaps his parents need to focus on finding him a nice Indian husband.
He's definitely not a 'ladies man' that's for sure, and after seeing him on BB if they've got any sense - they'll be giving him a much wider berth from now on!
I think 'injunction' will be a word he'll be adding to his vocabulary before long.
Not at all surprised to see Sree's unrequited love turn to hatred of Noirin.
It was so predictable.
I only hope he has learned from this - but I very much doubt it.
She did nothing wrong, she is not used to having to deal with social retards who don't recognise when they are batting out of their league.
I am so relieved that the already drunken Noirin didn't flash her boobs for another can, tempting though it may have seemed-to get Sree off her back, nothing is worth losing your dignity over - not even a whole can of cider.
I actually respected Sree for wanting to protect her honour, when people are so drunk that they lose sight of reality they need an advocate and I really admired Sree for his decency, his motives were more than self serving due to jealousy, he was trying to protect her from looking cheap. Much as I loathe him for his creepiness,he did Noirin a favour which she may never appreciate by talking to Lisa.
I don't think it was a good idea to assume that the gay guy who's bound to love show-tunes would be the best to lead the task. His performance was a disaster and nearly lost them the task.
They should have put Karly in charge, she was by far the best.
Marcus's incessant counting must have been very offputting, but they did better than I expected.
Thank goodness it was Charlie who was by far the worst, I am so glad that they picked up on all of his mistakes in the announcement afterwards, had it been Sree they would all have murdered him
Charlie was terrible at this task,by far the worst throughout; he made the mistake of practising on his own and is just completely out of synch with the others for the majority of the routine.
Sree has no sense of rythmn and seems oblivious to the timing and beat, he really cannot seem to concentrate on anything. Karly was excellent.
