I understand what Charlie is saying here to a certain extent. My husband came out of the same pea-pod as Freddie. He also says hi every single time he walks past and when you have to live with it all the time it drives you crazy. But he can't help it either and I have to bite my tongue, count to ten and continue to treat him with respect and as part of the household. It's called being a grown up.
I don't know how Freddie keeps it together, I would have walked by now.
