Speak the truth! Be honest! Say what's on your mind! Telling the truth is often the best thing to do, but sometimes it's better to keep your trap shut. Yes, Sree, it's better to keep your trap shut especially when you're trying to tell a girl that she should be a bit more, erm, conservative with her dress sense.
"You're a lovely, lovely girl, your heart is so gold," said Sree as he tried and failed to say exactly what he meant. "People will underestimate you," he added. Prompting Karly to start crying.
Karly claimed that she was missing her boyfriend and that was why she was crying, telling Sree that it wasn't his comments that upset her. "That's how I am and that's how I dress. I know what you're saying," she explained.
"I don't want to make you cry," said Sree trying to make up. "After you leave the show I don't want people making cheap comments about you."
And with that, peace seemed to descend. It was only later when Karly was in the Garden with Cairon that she confided that she was worried about how she might look to the outside world. And, like Chinese whispers, it wasn't long before Cairon was discussing Sree with Marcus.
"What girl could think anything he says is true when he goes over and tells the next girl?" asked Marcus, "it's the kind of thing you do when you're ten years old. But Marcus reckoned he knew exactly what Sree was up to. "He's a clever little ******* and he knows exactly what he's doing," Marcus hissed.
But a couple of minutes later Marcus was talking about a conversation he'd had with a biscuit. Yes, a biscuit.
It was all going so well...
