You'd have to be a mole with a hood on to not have noticed Kris and Dogface slobbering all over each other today, and have missed all your human biology lessons to know where that might be heading.
But, it seems, Sree doesn't have a clue about what happens when boys and girls like each other. In fact, you'd have to wonder what it IS that's going through his mind.
Tonight Sree was enjoying a bit of bonding with Dogface in the Bedroom, and engaging in his favourite game of dressing up in the girls' clothes. But while he shimmied into a pair of hot pants, Dogface was suddenly distracted when Kris came into the Bedroom, and the two were soon tangled up together on the bed... again. With everyone else in the other room, you'd think they might want a bit of them-time. But Sree didn't seem to notice.
While they desperately attempted to ignore the student by chewing on each other, Sree pranced around the Bedroom. He did his best to get involved, asking Dogface questions, and then, when he wasn't getting any attention, reaching behind where the couple were sprawled out and trying to get a scarf Kris was lying on. Talk about being a gooseberry.
Eventually Sree managed to prise the two from their position on the bed and wrap said scarf around his neck. As Kris left the Bedroom, Sree linked arms with Dogface and paraded her into the Living Room. And then, as she sat on a chair, he came up to play with her hair.
So, does Sree have a secret softspot for Dogface? Or does he not have a clue about giving people their space? If it's not being a gooseberry that's turning him green, then maybe envy?
