We're ready for BB10 - are you?
It's synonymous with the sun peeking out to play, the waft of barbeques in the air, and perhaps even an overexposure of flesh on the streets of Britain. Summer is back, and so is the most talked-about show of the last ten years - Big Brother.
At Big Brother Online HQ we’re a mob of real people wanting to make the Big Brother site the best it can possibly be for our fans. To name but a few, there’s me bridging the gap between Channel 4 and Endemol, Jon who will be holding the fort on the social networks, wordsmith Paul who drives all the way from Yorkshire to write our brilliant copy, Touf and Errol who charge around backstage getting you the best exclusive BB insights we can offer. The list goes on.
And this year we want to do things a little bit differently. We want to get to know you. We want to have a conversation. And it starts here….
To that end, we’ve completely transformed the Big Brother site. Opting to make the site much more interactive with comments, ratings, user profiles and a dedicated section just for our fans - the Fanzone - we want the BB site to be the busiest, liveliest, reactive hub for all things Big Brother. And although we’re very aware that some of you are going to miss the live streaming and the forums, we hope our brand new site will over and above make up for it.
On top of this, we’re not stopping at our own site. This year we’ll be using the Wild Wild West that is the Interweb like never before. With hefty BB presences on the likes of YouTube, MSN, Bebo, Facebook and Twitter, we’re not sitting back waiting for people to find our own site, we’re taking Big Brother to where you are.
So get involved. Register yourself on our sparkly, shiny new Big Brother site. If you’ve already registered on channel4.com, 4oD or e4.com, that same login will work here. Then we can really get going. Do you have a burning question for Davina? How about an idea for a task? Maybe you’d like to post a comment telling us that Michelle Bass’ rendition of "Pie Jesu" beats any offering from Susan Boyle. You could even start here by posting a comment under this article telling us what you think of the new site so far.
Jump on board and settle in for a summer of tears, tantrums, and all the bits in between. Fingers crossed it will be a bumpy ride….
