 Halfwit
If the housemates thought for a second that Big Brother might give them a few hours to compose themselves before announcing who the potential evictees would be, they were wrong. Very wrong. Just minutes after Sree returned from the Diary Room, communications were opened.

"This is Big Brother," came the announcement, "the housemates nominated for eviction this week are Angel and Halfwit." No dramatic pause, no nail-biting build-up. Just the result. Bang!

"Pah, again? Gosh," said Halfwit sarcastically.

"Well, well, well, I thought I might get a week off," he added quietly.

"That was awful," said Kris.

The atmosphere was pretty quiet as Angel and Halfwit briefly consoled each other.

"It's a load of ******* ********," Marcus told a very dejected looking Halfwit.

"Yeah, it's ******** man, ********," agreed Halfwit.

"You're like a cat, you have nine lives. You're invincible. Just think of it that way," said Noirin grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Easy for you to say Noirin, when you voted for him…

PUZZLED?: I agree with you. Do we want them in our final few weeks? Also I'm curious would there be anyone in the house that would beat Halfwit/Freddie in an eviction? Wouldn't it be amazing if he just kept on surviving!!

Lads, it's tough on Freddie/Halfwit but he's doing great job of turning the other cheek & letting things roll over his head. He knows what time it is & shows great tenacity - I can't believe how he soldiers on and keeps his dignity. Angel is psychologically weaker, pity. Wonder did she deliberately put down Noirin to ensure she'd b nominated? Does she 1. want to 'save' Freddie/Halfwit knowing he'd have a better change against her, or 2.she wants to bow out dignified without 'walking'. Shame eitherways. They're ppl I hadn't much hope for at first but now find them good souls. They do provide entertainment in their own peculiar way! We'll b left wit a very apathetic grp of HMs. Let's see and best of luck to my fav Freddie. RIP Michael Jackson

I don't think he talks down to people at all. I have a nephew who talks just like Freddy & he is the sweetest guy. I think Freddy would be upset to think people thought he was being patronising as I don't think that's his intention at all. Remember, he HAS had a priviledged background but that's hardly his fault! Notice when he was advising Angel about being tactful Noirin commented on him being up Angels a**e when he was just trying to help! He looked so dejected when they said his name again for nominations, I wanted to give him a big hug. Chin up Freddy, we love you babes xx

I understand that Halfwit would be upset about being nominated for the third time but he is far from innocent. He was trying to dominate everyone in the singing task and he talks down to people in a very patronising manner. He seems to think that he is above everyone and more intelligent than everyone else but if he was, he would have more self-awareness and realise that he is extremely irritating. He spoke to Noirin in a very aggressive manner when she asked him if he had taken the mead and she was asking everyone. He is now saying that he will definitely not go on Friday because the public will vote for Angel, which is nasty, and he went in the diary room saying that Angel "really fancies him" when we all know she doesn't. What an idiot!

Freddie to win! This year it's Freddie Vs House and Freddie's going to win because he's got more strength and character than all the rest combined. I can't wait to see their faces as he takes them out one by one. They all act so superior but they have nothing on Freddie.

Halfwit is pretty harmless and actually quite naive. Everyone just likes to take the micky out of him because he's different.Noirin nominated him even tho he granted she could have the glasses removed. She is quite a nasty person really which is becomin more apparant as time goes on. Chris and Charlie bully Halfwit and should be more tolerant of people who are abit vulnerable.Halfwit is actually a sweet person who is also quite entertaining so keep him in. Shree or Noirin should be going!!!

Lisa's comments were interesting re Siavash - he had a real chance to shine as King but was unimpressive. Noirin has really enjoyed the others' interest in her, but not shown a caring attitude towards any of them (look at the way she treated Sree suddenly). Sree does seem confused about what he is saying and seems well out of his depth. Less intimidating behaviour from certain HMs recently, which is great! Freddie's reaction was natural - how would you like to be nominated for a third time after being treated so apparently kindly and thoughtfully by the other HMs? A little empathy goes a long way...
