Premium Rate Telephone Competition T&C's
This 9Live Quiz TV competition ("Competition") is organised by or on behalf of 4 Ventures Limited and/or Channel Four Television Corporation of 124 Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2YX ("4 Ventures").
By entering the Competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
To play the Competition you must telephone the Premium Rate Telephone Number 09016 560 560 and state the correct answer and your name and contact telephone number. Alternatively you can email your entry to 9Live Quiz TV.
Your phone call will cost 60 pence using BT's network. Rates may vary for other network operators, mobile phones and public phone boxes.
Premium Rate Telephone Entry
On calling the Premium Rate Telephone Number callers will pass through a selection mechanism. A recorded message will notify you of the selection. You will either be put on hold to be put through to the programme at any give time during a set period of time or you will be asked to leave your name and contact number so that you can be called back and put through to the programme or you will be notified that your entry has been unsuccessful. You will be asked to answer the competition question if you are called back.
Email Entry
To enter via email you will need to click here and submit your name, email
address and contact telephone number. Your email will then be forward to 9Live Quiz TV and you will be called back if your email entry has been successful. You will be asked to answer the competition question if you are called back.
Participation is only possible during the hours of broadcast of 9Live Quiz TV, currently 10am to 2pm.
The Competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or older and by entering the Competition you warrant that you are 18 years or older.
If you are not available to take up the prize, 4 ventures reserves the right to award the prize to another winner.
Prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque and these will be sent out within 30 days from the date of the competition with which the winner participated.
If you are not the bill payer, you must get permission from the bill payer before playing.
You may enter the Competition as many times as you like.
4 Ventures and/or 9Live may withdraw or cancel the Competition for any reason and at any time and may change the prize to a prize of similar value. 4 Ventures and/or 9Live is under no obligation to offer refunds, but may do so at its sole discretion.
4 Ventures and/or 9Live, its group companies and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem in any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any message being lost or not properly recorded. 4 Ventures and/or 9Live is also not responsible for traffic congestion or other capacity issues which may result in a message not being able to get through or a message not being recorded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4 Ventures and/or 9Live hereby excludes all warranties, representations, covenants and liability (whether express or implied) regarding the Competition or the prize. Nothing however shall exclude 4 Ventures' liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
Any personal data collected will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. Please see Channel 4's privacy policy for further details.
In the event of any dispute regarding the Competition, the decision of 4 Ventures shall be binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
4 Ventures and/or 9Live reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this website.
Employees of Channel 4, Advanced Telecom Services Inc and the Channel 4 group of companies, their families, and anyone connected with 9Live Quiz TV and the Competition may not enter the Competition and is not entitled to win the prize.
The winner of the Competition acknowledges that their name may be publicised.
4 Ventures and/or 9Live may disqualify you from winning the prize if it has reasonable grounds to suspect you may be in breach of these terms and conditions and/or your participation in the Competition may be fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
