Why don't all programmes have subtitles?
Unfortunately, not every programme on 4oD via channel4.com will carry subtitles. In particular, some of our older archive material, programmes that were subtitled live or where the version of the programme on 4oD is different to that which we broadcast.
Look out for the "S" button in the video player (after the Ads have played) to denote whether the programme has subtitles.
Subtiles are only currently available through channel4.com.
