Why am I being directed to the Mobile 4oD service when I try to access the channel4.com 4oD service from my mobile device?
The Mobile 4oD service has been developed to give users the best viewing experience on mobile devices. When you go to the channel4.com/4od pages from your mobile device, we will detect this and re-direct you to the Mobile 4oD site (m.channel4.com/4od). In some cases it is not always possible to detect your device, including some HTC devices. This may be caused by your device’s browser setting preventing detection and can be changed on some devices:
- go to your browser - tap on the menu option from your device - go to ‘settings'
- if you have an option for 'Mobile View' setting please make sure this is ticked (if not, simply tap the box to enable).
If you wish to access the Desktop site on www.channel4.com/4od you can tap on the 'Desktop' link available at the bottom of each page.
