We’ve some great programmes to keep you entertained over the weekend at 9pm - and the rest of the week to – but here are a couple of honourable mentions…

Saturday at 9pm sees the network premiere of the 2015 sci-fi thriller, TERMINATOR GENISYS directed by Alan Taylor. Arnold Schwarzenegger again makes good on his promise to be back… A resistance fighter (Jai Courtney) from 2029 lands in an alternate reality where Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) battles to prevent Skynet's rise to power.

And then, for something completely different, on Sunday at 9pm: BIG BEN: SAVING THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS CLOCK. This global icon whose four great clock faces have watched over six monarchs, welcomed in 29 prime ministers and survived two World Wars, is in a chronic state of disrepair and is to be silenced for four years, while tens of millions of pounds is spent on restoration. Architectural historian Anna Keay has exclusive behind-the-scenes access as the conservation work swings into action.

Whilst over on Film 4 our Fantastica season of films continues with some classic fantasy, sci-fi, horror, comic-book heroes and wild action films – including NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: SECRET OF THE TOMB, featuring Robin Williams in one of his last ever screen roles is at 7.05pm on Saturday night. The network premiere of TOMORROW, WHEN THE WAR BEGAN a surreal Australian alien flick at 6.05pm on Sunday, followed by Jennifer Lawrence in THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE at 9pm and on Monday at 9pm, Keanu Reeves stars in 47 RONIN as a masterless samurai (Ronin) in 18th Century Japan.
