We’ve 3 great new series coming up next week, first up on Sunday at 8pm, a new 4-part series with the rather fabulous Julie Walters. In COASTAL RAILWAYS WITH JULIE WALTERS, she will be sharing with us some of the most beautiful and interesting stretches of coastal railway routes in the UK.In this new series, Julie takes a magical mystery tour through dramatic landscapes while uncovering surprising historical secrets. From pristine Scottish shores to Cornish fishing villages, this is a journey of discovery - of how our coastal railway routes helped shape us as a nation and the stories of the people who brought them to life. In the first episode, Julie rides the West Highland Railway in Scotland, on board the famous Jacobite steam train, memorable for its starring role in the Harry Potter films. She gets some practical training in blowing up railway lines at Arisaig House, home to the Special Operations Executive from the Second World War. There's also herring gutting in Mallaig; a traditional Scottish storyteller on Skye; and cattle wrangling at Duirinish.

On Monday, we’ve a brand new daytime series LOST AND FOUND, going out Monday to Friday at 3pm, we’ll be shining a light on the work of Dogs Trust, one of Britain's best-loved dog rescue charities, following their efforts to find new homes for unwanted and abandoned dogs and dramatic and heart-warming stories of lost dogs and the people who work tirelessly to reunite them with their owners.

Everyone’s favourite baker, Paul Hollywood has a new 4-part series starting on Monday from 8pm, PAUL HOLLYWOOD: A BAKER'S LIFE. In this new series, Paul opens up his personal cookbook to share his favourite recipes from a lifetime of baking. The show follows Paul from his early life in Merseyside, to his career in five star hotels, to becoming a judge on The Great British Bake Off. Paul will share four simple baking recipes in each episode, first up, Val and Selasi, ex-GBBO contestants, challenge Paul to bake a delicious pistachio and rose petal roulade. He’ll also share his ultimate pizza recipe, there’s a BBQ from Silverstone and finally, we’ll be back in the Bake Off tent with Prue and Paul making a madeira celebration cake, decorated by Noel and Sandi. Can't wait for that!
