About Sara Geater
Sara Geater is the Head of Commercial Affairs and has been with the Channel since April 2004.
Sara joined Channel 4 after 3.5 years at the BBC as Director of Rights and Business Affairs, having been Head of Film & TV at Avalon. Before this Sara worked in the film industry as Head of Production at HAL/Miramax Films, prior to which she was Head of Production for Drama and Film at Channel 4, first time around. She has also been a film producer for Cannon Films and a freelance Line Producer working in both film and TV programmes, sitting on the board of IPPA, the precursor to PACT.
A qualified barrister Sara has not just stopped here, she has, a private pilots licence and has recently been made a Fellow of the RSA. (Royal Society for the advancement of Arts, Commerce and Manufacture). She is also a member of The Thinking Women's Network.
