About Graeme Mason
Graeme took a degree in Communications in his native Australia before commencing work in television research. He worked in development and production for both factual and entertainment television programming before moving to England in 1990. Over the next decade he worked in all aspects of film both locally and internationally. At various times he was involved in production, sales, acquisition and distribution and helped with the roll-out of PolyGram Filmed Entertainment - the only European Film Studio. From 1998 to 2002 he was the President of World Wide Acquisitions for Universal Studios. He undertook several key consultancies for Channel 4 and in September 2003 took the position as Head of Media Projects for the group.
About Media Projects
The Media Projects operation was set up as a dedicated link between the creative and commercial sides of the businesses. Its function is to help leverage the full commercial possibilities of existing programmes and identify new creative ideas that lend themselves to cross platform exploitation. Some key initiatives for 2004 include music and comedy live events and magazines based on existing programming,
