Alastair Fothergill
Alastair is a former head of the BBC's Natural History Unit, and is currently Series Producer of the multi-award-winning Planet Earth. Before that he worked as Producer and Director on countless BBC natural history programmes including the seminal Blue Planet. He is currently in post-production on Earth - a feature-length version of Planet Earth.

Brian Woods
Brian started his career in corporate video production, before being hired by Diverse Productions in the early '90s. In 1995 he started True Vision, whose first production - The Dying Rooms - was nominated for two Baftas and won numerous other awards, including an Emmy and the Prix Italia. Since then Brian has produced and directed numerous international documentaries for the BBC, Channel 4, HBO and Discovery, which have garnering over thirty awards in the process - including seven Emmies, two Peabodys, and the Bafta for Best Documentary for Orphans of Nkandla. Recent projects include A World Without Water for Channel 4 and Evicted for BBC One.

Rebecca Frankel
Rebecca is Editor of FourDocs, Channel 4's broadband documentary channel. FourDocs was the first interactive broadband channel dedicated to documentary, and has proven a vital outlet for short film makers, enabling the best four-minute docs to be viewed by Channel 4 commissioners.

Meredith Chambers
Meredith became Commissioning Editor for Channel 4 Documentaries in 2005, having previously worked as a producer in Current Affairs, Education, Documentary and Factual Entertainment. He has worked on a diverse range of programming, from I'm a Celebrity... to Lads Army and currently commissions the Cutting Edge strand, as well as other popular series. His eclectic background brings a wealth of experience to the session, and his particular passion is to find stories and directors that make documentaries as immediate, captivating and popular as the most successful entertainment.
