How to Upload

HOW TO UPLOAD TO 4LAUGHS

We know you're bursting with fantastic ideas, so we've made it as easy as possible for you to share your comedy genius with the 4Laughs world.

Follow our 4 easy steps to upload heaven, and you could be winging your way up The Comedy Ladder in no time at all.

  1. You don't need to be registered to watch comedy on 4Laughs, but you will have to register if you want to enter any of our competitions, upload your comedy or rate other peoples entries.
  2. Once you've got an idea to share, enter one of our competitions. Take your pick, we've something for everyone; captions & storyboards, scripts & jokes as well as video, audio and image competitions.
  3. Each competition has a set of rules and terms & conditions. It sounds boring, but the terms tell you how the competition works, and explain the guidelines for entry.
  4. A simple Java program runs our upload mechanism, so accept the prompt to install it. Click the select file button and use the pop-up to browse your computer. Have a look through our FAQ guide for a bit more information on file types.

Any problems, get in touch with the 4Laughs team and we'll leap into action.

Once you've chosen your file, the upload process begins. This may take a few seconds or a few minutes, depending on the size of your file and your internet connection.

When your entry has been uploaded, it gets moderated before appearing on the site. We aim to moderate most entries within 24 hours.

You can see its status on your profile. As soon as your clip has been uploaded it'll appear as unmoderated. Once the 4Laughs team have checked it, it will appear on the site.

If for any reason we can't publish your work, we'll be in touch to let you know why, suggesting any changes necessary.

4Laughs users will watch, rate and comment on your work, then upload their own.
