Firstly, you need to find similar properties to yours or the one you are considering buying. These need to be:
* Ones that have recently sold nearby (typically within a maximum of a three mile radius).
* Ideally you need to find a similar property that has recently sold in your or a nearby street.
You can find this information by looking at ‘sold property prices’. There are lots of different sites, such as Up My Street you can use, but you can find this information by talking to all the local agents and by going online to property search sites.
