Kim & Aggie suits. How Clean Is Your House: Dave, Bovington

When 51-year-old Dave divorced and bought his own house in Dorset, it was supposed to mark a fresh start. Fifteen years on and there's nothing fresh about this home!

Meet the Grime Offender

Dave co-exists with mountains of dust and detritus. Piles of cigarette butts choke the living room, while the kitchen has its own bacterial micro-system. Dave's desire for healthy eating has left a compost of decomposing fruit and veg. The swarms of flies love his recycling attempt.

Fly on knife. How Clean Is Your House: Dave, Bovington

It's no surprise that this civil servant feels like his life is stagnating. He's now ready to meet a mate. In desperation he calls in the nation's cleaning Queens Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie. Renowned for fearlessly attacking horrible hovels - this house proves a first.

Kim and Aggie take one look at the job and immediately decide to bomb the place - literally. The house has to be sealed off for four hours, while an insecticide lays waste to all the unwanted life forms.

Kim soon gets Dave cleaning while Aggie shows him the sensible guide to recycling. They even get him chatting up the opposite sex.

As Dave works to excavate a passion palace from beneath the chaos, is he now ready to embrace a new life?
