...It’s goodbye rickety old shed, time to make way for the new shed on the block. Garden shed rooms are a great way to gain space - and come fully insulated and ready to wire up to the mains. A basic model will cost between £5,000 and £13,000, will last at least 10 years, and they take just 2 days to install. As long as the floor area is less than 15 square metres then they don’t need planning permission but always check with your local council because there are exceptions.
