Meanwhile, the builders have unearthed some costly problems in trying to get drainage for the new kitchen. They were going to use the outlet where the washing machine had been discharging, but it turns out the pipe is way too narrow. So a trench has to be dug from the water outlet at the property to the entrance of the mains drainage, in order to replace the pipe.
