Houses like these were built in the 1980s when there was an enormous property boom - and we were moving into bigger houses with decent sized gardens and decent sized driveways. But there is a big downside: so many of these places were built so quickly that they’re bland, faceless and quite dark and dingy inside.
In Biggin Hill, 28 year old salesman Lee lives in one of those 1980s homes with his dog, Saatchi. Lee bought this house a year and a half ago, with his fiancée, as a long-term renovation project - but after eight months living here, the engagement was off and Lee was left with an unfinished house.
