2. Hi, My husband & i live in the peak district, we wish to rent out our Barn conversion as a holiday let and use the income to buy a house to live in and renovate. Not sure the best area, looking at Darley Dale/chesterfield? is this a good time to buy and develop? what type of house is best for a first time development? Hope you can help! Amy

3. Help Will I be renting forever? I wondered whether you could offer any concrete advice on Shared Ownership properties ie the advantages and disadvantages and whether negotiations are ever possible. I am a first time buyer in Central London with a deposit of ?3000 and am struggling to make sense of the very confusing Shared Ownership process as seems a good way for local governments to make lots of money from people that are unable to gain a foot on the property ladder. But also the only light at the end of a very very dark tunnel. I think a great idea to have a feature on this on Location, Location. I will be first in line. Kimbilly*

4. Help, I am living a rented house and have been looking to buy a property for about 3 years now, with everything that has happened with the banks and such it is a nightmare. I have my money in the bank and it is dwindling away I need to find a property and it is not easy, in the past i have helped my husband (now ex) convert two barns, and renovate property so i am not a complete novice. I am looking for a property to do up that would not be two taxing and would like to buy Dorset or new forest area, could you help is there any areas that are affordable and up and coming i do not have a massive budget, around £250,000 plus renovations, any ideas, thanks for reading this, Barb

Hi Phil & Kirstie, My partner and I work in London and we are looking for a location where would have easy access to the city; Good rent return as we intent to rent a few bedrooms to help paying off the mortgage and in a place that definetely houses prices will increase. We thought about Abbey wood because it is affordable or Margate in Kent. Could you please give us some advises? Many thanks, We love your show :)x

Hi Phil Nd Kirsty We have our house under offer unfortunatly, the house we had put offer on withdrew from market, we have looked at our prefered area, and nothing is available, is it best to withdraw from the market and wait for it to get better, or plod on in the hope that we will find a property when the sale of our house goes through. any advise would be useful, and i love the show keep up the good work

Hi phill&Kitsty, Me and my partner are first time buyers from woodford essex, with a £35000 deposit looking for a house to make a home, everythig we have gone for we have been unsuccessful due to cash buyers,(housing association and builders mainly) looking to make a profit. We have been accepted for a mortage but everyone seems to want to go with the cash buyers in the current market,This is very fustrating because all i hear is how first time buyers are needed to help the market but knowbody seems to be intrested in us, and only a few estate againts seem willing to help and take us serious. it seems all they want is the most comission they can get and the small houses we are looking at they arnt intrested, Thanks for reading this letter any help advise would be greatly appreciated Many thanks

9. Hi Phil & Kirsty I live in Somerset and sold my property at the end of Feb 09. I then found a new-build which I fell in love with. My offer was accepted mid-March and my solicitor is only just in receipt of the info for me to make an informed decision as to whether to proceed. The findings were that at strip of garden to the side is a'no-mans' land and will never be on my title deeds. Although I love the house, would I be very foolish in proceeding with the purchase knowing that I could have a problem when I come to sell? Hope you can help.

Hi Phil & Kirsty,could really do well with some advice, I live on my own in a 400yr old 2 bed cottage in Watchet in Somerset, valued at 215k, my tie in period is ending in June and am not sure as to whether to remortage, sell or rent? help lots of big decisions. If I decide to sell can you suggest any place in UK ( rural ) where the property is cheaper than Somerst but is still a nice area to live. MY work takes me all over the UK but pref like to have access to the M5 and M4,

11. Hi Phil & Kirsty Have been following your programme for years. After watching the episode in Margate when the Painter from London bought in Cliftonville, I convinced my partner to invest in a flat there himself. Sadly the place has not come up as expected or predicted. We have had two tenants over the two years we have owned the flat. If you know anyone that would like to buy a one bed flat very nice and modern in a victorian conversion please let us know. Would be ideal for a commuter to London, you could live in Cliftonville cheaply.

12. My husband and I are in a 4-bed detached house on a new housing estate. Both children have now flewn the nest and we are looking to down-size. We would love somewhere semi-rural and are at the point of driving around areas not too far away from where we already live in order for us to continue to commute to our current workplaces. We are at a loss as to where we should look in order to meet our needs. We would just love to live in a village community, and as this will probably be our retirement house for the future would hope to find somewhere that can offer us peace and tranquility although not too far away from our family, friends and a town where we can shop and visit. We don't mind some DIY but do not want a delapidated house which needs a lot of work. We want something which we can make our own. Ideally we would like 3 bedrooms so that our children can come to visit and stay over if they want to. We would also like a garage. A garden would also be nice but not too big. We have watched your programmes many times and know that you are the people who can find us a property. We would very much apprecite your help in our quest to find our dream. Many thanks. 13. Hi I would realy appreciate some feedback with regards to purchasing a property in Norwich. My farther in law wants to give us some capital so we can go ahead and purchase a property, but he wants us to find out if we should wait a bit longer to enable us to get the best deal possible. Hi, We are hoping to move house in April this year, from our 3 bed terrace in Portsmouth (where we have lived for too long)to a detatched property with a driveway (oh please.. my own driveway!!) in a more village environment. The thing is, it all seems a bit daunting, we are not sure how much we can afford and I am aware that my dream may not fit the cashflow at all? On your programmes you seem to find those gems of properties that we, the ley persons do not seem to access. Maybe its because we don't take the risks of going out of the area or of changing our criteria, it's so much easier I would think with someone like yourselves with an unbias view to stretch the boundaries of my dream home. I wonder if there is a chance you could help? You know: middle of the road family moves to the country with £200,000 and gets thier own driveway!! Isn't that everyones dream??

18. Dear Kirsty & Phil, we're all of a quandary, we are a couple with a baby due in a few months and feel a sudden urgency to settle in a home of our own. I live in a housing association property and my partner currently lives with his parents as they live very close to his place of employment. The quandary is whether or not to try to buy our 2 bedroom semi from the housing association at a potential discount or to look for somewhere with more bang for our buck in the current climate. We had a lump sum but used that to eliminate our debt before we embark on a purchase so we're unsure where we stand now with no deposit. Really we're looking for some grounded, impartial, expert advice and we don't seem to be able to find any. You guys are exactly what we need, an injection of reality :) Please help.

19. Phil and Kirsty, We left the big smoke to come to the country to raise a family. We moved to a village just outside Tunbridge Wells and live on a newish housing estate. We have been living in Kent for over five years now and absolutely love living in this part of Kent and cannot imagine moving back to London. Instead, we would like to find a beautiful old country property and are gagging to get off our curtain twitching estate. We started looking for a property just before the market started to slowed down but are not willing to wait until the market picks up to start looking again. In fact we are hoping to capitalise on the downturn and hopefully find something we may not have been able to afford before. We have often jokingly mentioned we should get Phil and Kirsty in to help us with our search as we watch Location,Location and Relocation,Relocation religiously but today after watching another show I thought, that's it, I'm going to get in touch. We would be eternally grateful if you would help us fully realise our country living dream and look forward to you getting in touch. Many thanks Colleen and Andrew.
