Phil and Kirstie catch up with James and Vikki who, two years ago, asked for help finding a family home in England and their dream holiday home in Wales.
After a serious motorbike accident, James decided that life was for living and within 18 months he was married to his partner Vikki and they had baby Holly. To complete the picture, all they needed was an escape from Croydon.
They wanted a family home in the M4 corridor; but, just as important, they wanted a holiday home on the Pembrokeshire coast, where James grew up: a fantastic plan, but without the fantastic budget to match. To stand even a fighting chance with their £380,000, Kirstie and Phil's search covered four counties and over 1,000 square miles!
They found it tough to go to more than a semi-detached; and for James, that meant half a house and a dream half-finished. But the watchword was compromise; and when Vikki fell for a semi-detached house in Woodcote, they offered and got it.
But one purchase proved enough and the holiday home was put on hold. Two years later, are they still happy with the compromise?
