Mark and Allison's home in Deal, Kent

It's been more than four years since the arrival of their baby daughter made Allison and Mark want to trade in their London lifestyle for the Kent coast.

They had an impressive £700,000 budget for their home in Kent and a crash-pad in London for Mark's work, but still they had to go through a lengthy search and some tricky negotiations before settling.

Now Phil's back to see if the move out of London took their lives in the right direction, and discovers how an earthquake threatened to bring all their hard work crashing down.
