For your new series of Property Ladder, how have the market conditions affected how people have approached their projects?
Sarah: I think they have tended to listen more, which is a bit wierd! Ultimately, once they were in developments they had to keep going.
How has it affected the kind of profits they can make?
Sarah: Obviously profits have been seriously affected by the market - some of the developers are in very deep but some manage to make money anyway, which shows that good business practice can help you to survive the trickiest of markets.
How does the new series differ to previous years?
Sarah: This is the best series we have made - its a roller coaster ride but shows you that you can develop in any market and survive if you are careful.
