Are you planning to develop a property?

If you think you’ve got what it takes to become a property developer in the current market, Sarah Beeny and the Property Ladder team would like to hear from you.

We’re looking for projects around Britain to follow for our next series. Ideally it should be your first development. You need to be involved with the build and also available to film on a regular basis. We will also need to film the development from the start.

If you are passionate about your project and you think you might be what we are looking for, please contact us at propertyladder@talkbackthames.tv.

If possible please also send us a daytime contact number so that we can call you back.

We look forward to hearing from you.

  1. My name is ruby, I am eighteen years old and I am finishing my last year of A levels. I want to go onto further education to study Art/Design. Unfortunately, last May I lost my mother to a massive brain hemorrhage and died after a period of coma. Because she died without a will, the place my mum and I (and our two cats) have called home for sixteen years (essentially all my life) has become a probate issue. My mothers estranged husband was set to receive the bulk of the estate under intestacy laws, but after a year of 'legal stuff', a settlement has now been reached. One of the conditions of the settlement is that I am to handle the sale of the house (3 bed , 2 floor garden flat in East Dulwich, London). Although I will be receiving a percentage of the sale, I still need a place to live. With the money I will receive from the sale of the property and my current savings I am challenged to find a suitable new home and I really don't know where or how to begin. Mum never prepared me for stuff like legal battles and property sales. I know it is a big thing to take on, but it is something that I have to do. I have seen your show on the tv and was hoping that maybe you could lend some advice. All the best Ruby

  2. My busness partner & his wife are in the process of buying a bungalow in a village called Normanby by Spital in lincolnshire & wondered if you where interested in the fact they are pulling it down to build a house or bungalow depending what the planers allow as the local planners are a little nutty.

  3. I am looking to buy a detached house and turn it into 2 flats....either to rent out or sell. I work in retail and am looking for something more challenging. My husband works in iraq and I feel I need to fulfil my time in something of more interest to me. The house I live in now I managed it from top to bottom when it was being refurbished and am pleased with the outcome.

  5. Hi Sarah Unusual one..my daughter bought a pretty 'Westlander' dutch barge with a wooden wheelhouse a year ago with her inheritance, needs refurbishing badly in order to sell...moored near Windsor on pretty part of the river. In the current climate where people are looking for low cost homes is this something you would be interested in showing how to 'maxamise' a small space on a low budget? Thank you Jac
