This week's Property Ladder sees two developers going for it, having ditched their day jobs to become property developers. But was it a wise move to put their livelihoods on the line? Sarah is on hand to try and rescue the developers from financial ruin...

Former IT sales manager David Hollingworth has decided that for a better quality of life he should stuff his day job as an IT sales manager and go full-time with his property developing. He's pinning all his hopes (and his career, money and livelihood) on a four bedroom terraced house in Crouch End, north London. Can his developing nouse lead to the profit he so desperately needs on this Victorian home?
Upon Sarah's return David has bought a huge old wreck of a house which he's hoping will make him rich. It's been converted into flats and he wants to revert it back to a luxury family home - not the usual way a developer might do things, but will he still manage to bring in the profit he's got his heart set on?

Rebecca Lang has given up a great career looking at teeth, deciding that dentistry is no match for development. She's after a more flexible lifestyle than the 9 to 5 grind she's so used to, and to start on her development path she's bought a 1970s detached family home in Poole, Dorset. This is one of the most affluent and expensive places to live in the whole country, and Rebecca wants to cash in.
When Sarah goes back to visit, Rebecca has entered headlong into another luxury project in Poole. It's clear this lady has an eye for quality and knows exactly what her affluent family market wants in a home, but will budget restraints put pay to the type of finish that Rebecca's target demographic demands?
