The high price of property means increasing numbers of mates are teaming up to get into developing. The trouble is the stresses of developing can put your friendship right on the line.

In Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, part-time bouncers Danny and Sean are taking on this two bedroom Victorian house that might look a cinch from the outside, but inside it needs a huge amount of work and what's more the boys are hoping to do it all on their own. Can a DIY development between mates really end happily?

Eighty miles away, Telford foursome Keith, Wendy, Pete and Liz have just ganged up to develop this massively problematic 1970s property. The front of the house is horribly outdated, inside the layout is as awkward as I've seen, and out back the garden is too steep to use. Making it all appeal to buyers won't be easy.
Pete, a kitchen fitter, is taking on the skilled labour. Keith, a business manger, will run the project while Liz and Wendy are in charge of design. It sounds organized and with a development as difficult as this it better be!
