A publicist and agent for many years, Melanie Cantor honed her skills in a variety of roles before being lured onto TV.
Melanie's client list over the years reads like a popular Who's Who? of celebrities and has included Michael Parkinson, Angela Rippon, Selina Scott, Adam Ant, Michael Aspel, Mike Smith, Sarah Kennedy, Lysette Anthony and Ulrika Jonsson as well as magazines New Woman, Tatler, and OK!
Currently looking after Julia Carling, Melinda Messenger and astrologer Claire Petulengro through the TV Presenters' Agency 'Take Three Management,' which she set up with two other agents, Melanie still finds time to pursue her passion for property, and has been constantly on the move, buying, doing-up and selling.
It was knowledge of this that led Jill Lourie, Head of Development at Two Four Productions, to invite Melanie to present the Channel 4 show Making Space in which this effortlessly charismatic individual dispenses practical and useful advice to those seeking a little order amongst their everyday chaos.
