Jo and Lee Cranmer thought they’d made the right moves in the property game. They saved up and bought a family home in Swindon, but a year ago an opportunity came up and changed everything.
Unable to sell their Swindon home, Lee's new job with Devon County Council meant he was forced to spend Monday to Friday alone in Exeter, 120 miles away from his family.
And to make matters, worse Devon’s lovely landscape and barnstorming beaches means that property here has held its value better than their home town.
Jo and Lee want a family home with three bedrooms. It’s got to be near the sea, and have a good garden for the girls. They have a budget of £170,000 - so it’s going to be tough ... but it wouldn’t be Location, Location, Location without a typically long wish list!
