  3. Dearest Kim & Aggie I really need your help! My mother in-law is sick with many things that keeps her going to the hospital so many times through the year! My husband and I know that she is also depressed because of the state of her small apartment. She has so much clutter of valuable things that she does not have room for. She has a path to walk around all of this stuff. We have been wanting to help her get a fresh start but the years go by and we fail her once again. Here is a funny one for ya, I went to clean her refrigerator and started at the bottom in the crisper drawer and a monster with tentacles grabbed me! It was an onion that had grown long green plant life on it! I know she is counting on us for our help but life gets busy and then we just don't know where to start! The ambulance had to get her out of the apartment once on a strecher and they had such a horrible time getting her through the mess. It was embarassing to us but more so for her! She would flip out if she knew I was doing this! Then the other sad thing is I am a tidy house keeper but we have a room of our own dedicated to her clutter of over 5 years! We have tried to get antique dealers give her an offer for her belongings but the amount that they ask for is not suitable for her and so then we are stuck once again with her things. One day I want to have children and use this room for them to play in. I know she wants us to have kids but her mess is a factor. We also have a storage building here at our house that has even more of her precious things! I know you guys will love her right away and Ryan and I will love you more for helping us help her! Kim and Aggie please come to the USA and help us get this clutter under control the way you specialize in. We promise to have loads of fun with the two of you but also help you and the team clean this up in a serious manner! I love you ladies and all that you do! Please help us with this massive task! Love Melissa

  5. Dear Kim & Aggie, please could you help a lovely lady that i have known for years. Her severe health problems are preventing her from getting her house in order. her son who also lives with her also has his own health issues aswell.I really feel that you are the last resort and could really make a huge difference to the lives of these two people and enable them to live healthier lives as a result.Due to the clutter it is exremely difficult for ths lady to move around her house, and as a result she becomes very sad and depressed but she still battles on as she has great strength and character.I hope you can help in this matter, thank you, you do such a great job for people.

  8. Great show girls! Grill pans Oh that grease, sausages, bacon I love to grill them but what a lot of fat. On my pan, of course, not on me. Don't let it get on top of you. Take wooden spatula, scrape off fat with same and wipe onto kitchen paper. Wash pan. Very easy and the water doesn't get too greasy. Don't agree with you about toilet brushes. Scrub round with brush and flush toilet holding brush under best jet of water (usually at the back of toilet pan). My brush looks OK. Keep up the good work.

  13. As an 18 year old male, I'd like to nominate my own house because quite frankly I've had enough of having to live in this sty. It isn't disgustingly filthy, we just have a lot of unneccesary clutter and I think something seriously needs to be done about it. My dad is notorious for buying things he doesn't need or promising to do things around the house. However, typically of his character, he very rarely backs up his decision to sort the place out. To put it in perspective, a "tidy up" in the living room is simply shoving unwanted documents under the coffee table and rearranging cushions. My mother can't deal with tidying the house because she works such long hours and cant bear to come home and attack the mess. Just for once I'd like to see my house and not moan in despair at the mess that's been left. P.S. I am not claiming I am completely innocent in the cluttering - I'm an 18 year old man for goodness sake.

  15. Hello Ladies, I love watching your program! It is amazing how people can live in such a horrid mess. You are very brave indeed to enter such dirty homes. How can you keep a straight faces and be polite and comforting to all those lazy, dirty peopple it is beyond me! You are both amazing. These days there is so much cleaning produtcs in every supermarket that there is no excuse for a dirty house! All those filthy people are just pure lazy! Many of them have cats and dogs and other smaller pets. Cats are very clean animals, they hate dirty litter tray, if it is full and smelly they will find a clean corner to do their toilet. Cats and dogs can pick up all sorts of infections form dirty floors and bugs infested homes in which they are forced to live. They can develop an allergies, respiratory and gastric problems, nasty skin and paws conditions, etc. All those cats and dogs featured in your programms are always looking so scruffy and sad. Seeing an animal living in such dirty, stinky holes really upsets me and makes me really angry. Their owner should be ashemed of themselfs! Please, please, would you advice people who have pets, especially cats and dogs that it is not healthy for their pets to live in such dirty conditions in smelly rooms where the windows are never open. Keeping a pet in a dirty home, specially when the cat or sometimes dog doesn't go out it is just cruel! Pets need fresh air, clean bedding, decent food eaten out of CLEAN bowl clean litter tray and they need to go out. If people can't provide their pet with a decent lifestyle, they shouldn't have them! Please, help those poor pets by educating their clueless owners. Wishing you both all the best, you are fantastic! xxx

  22. Hi there! i would like to nominate my Uncle Simon! My aunty passed away 6 years ago now and his house is still as it was then the junk dust and dirt piling up is immense! He lives with his son who is 17 and his bedroom in clean and tidy!!! Also my cousin and her fiancee live there and they both work full time and have decided its not their responsibility to clean the house so between them all and the dog the house is disgusting. Me and my daughter would like to visit but you have to barge through the broken front door to be met by dust bunnies bigger then the dog and an awful smell of dog dirt grime and grease. The kitchen is grimy and dirty and has more cobwebs then a cript! the living room has a filthy carpet ornaments which i swear is just formed dust pretending to be an ornament and curtains which used to be purple but now disguise themselves with the walls covered in dust and dirt built up and you cannot tell if they are closed as the windows are so filthy to join in the style! The your greeted by the staircase which is piled with stuff and lots of dog hair and is unsafe to walk on as you slip! they have just has the bathroom done awhile ago and already the grime and muck is building up in there too! how can they get thoroughly clean in that! then there is the spare room which is piled floor to ceiling with unessessary junk! the hallway is full too and again the spiders have spun their webs then decided to move on leaving the dust a new home! My cousins room is a mess but her and her fiancee are squashed in with all their things but the dirt is not acceptable. My others cousins room is amazing he keeps it clean and tidy and i know he would love the rest of the house to follow! My uncles room is downstairs he lets no one in... it used to be a downstairs bedroom and wet room for my aunty as she was disabled the last time i went in it was no better then the house and again filled with memories which are sat dusting over. He keeps saying he wants to sort it all but never does and with my stubborn cousin not offering to help and she does not see why she should i think it is all piling up on them and they all need a fresh start and this would be the perfect way to do it. They all need to de-clutter their lives and start again. Please please please come help my family i love them all lots and want them out of their misery and i know my aunty would have too. kim and aggie WE NEED YOU!

  23. i live in a house just as bad as the ones in this show. if not worse. my mum if i watch the show with her says our house isnt dirty just messy. which isnt true, we've got mice, sometimes even rats and bedbugs. i've often asked why we cant get people like ones on this show in and she says all they do is put all the stuff in the house into storage and it costs to get the people in and we cant afford it. is this true? please tell me. i cant wait til i move out into my own house as i know i would keep it clean and not in the state this is in, its disgusting, not healthy and it suffers my social life as i cant invite friends round. and even though friends should be friends things like this do matter as i lie to them and i cant just take take take and not give.

  24. Just a visual. Nice sized front garden, with brown fencing and a tarmac driveway, leading up to a big detatched house in a nice clean neighbourhood. But before you get to the front door, there's shingle underneath mounds of weeds and a pond of dead fish with a small slimey waterfall and plants being overtaken with weeds, containers and general rubbish. And you see that through all of the windows, top and bottom, the curtains are closed. It's the middle of a hot summers day. The front door of number 4 opens and you're met with a delightful waft of awful smells and a hallway you can't barely fit down. A good size front room on the left is completly filled with a mixture of boxes, mail, rubbish, fishing tackle, paperwork, general dust (of which is probably at least 3 years old as I cleaned it last when I lived there 3 years ago), a carpet that's never hoovered, curtains that are constantly closed and have never been cleaned but have been up since my mum lived there 15 years ago, a now very skanky, uninvitable sofa also with it's fair share of pointless crap on and around it, containers, clothes, think there is still a fish tank on a table somewhere, you will probably find a few used cups and plates around too, with stuff still on them if you're lucky. My dads bedroom is to the right and it's the same condition but minus the table, sofa and fish tank and instead a double bed and broken wardrobe, also been there for at least 15 years. Need I go on to the complete state of the kitchen (there's a cupboard of cleaning products all covered in dust, most of which were brought around 15-20 years ago, by my mother of course), bathroom, dining room (the 'if there's no where to put it, put it in there' room believe it or not), 3 upstairs bedrooms (1 of which is probably the cleanest room in the house only because you can't get in there from all the boxes that are stored in it), theother 2 are my 17 year old brothers (enough said!). There is also a consevertory, a downstairs toilet, a big back garden a shed and a garage. Every room I would consider to be that of a 90 year old man that has no friends of family, maybe has a problem with drink and isn't very mobile. My dad is 50, very mobile, does not drink, is a keen cook and has lots of friends and family who love him. Why does he live this way? It brings tears to my eyes, upsets my nan and in september when he becomes a grandad for the first time, will be sacrificing his only grandchild coming round, I won't even be able to fit through the door with the pram, it'll be a struggle just carrying the baby indoors and to be honest, it's just not safe for a child. Please help, he's lived like this far too long, he's going to lose the people the care for him most otherwise.

  27. I love you girls! My 4 year old has grown up watching you, she is the queen of clean in our home. Sadly, my twin boys & their daddy are not! I clean all day every day, but I cannot keep up! On top of that, I kindof don't do laundry well. I can get it washed and dried, but putting things away has become impossible. Ever since the boys got their own rooms, I can't tell whose is whose, and none of it ever gets puts up. However, they are almost 9 and should be able to do it. Instead, I spend all day on their laundry and throw mine into my room. Wish you could come to Missouri....we actually have a room in our big beautiful new house called "the WRECK" room. And I don't even want to use my own bathroom anymore.

  28. Dear Kym and Aggie my mother in law is in desperate need of gettin her house sorted out its been years since a days housework has been done there is so much clothes piled up in every room what you don't know whats clean or dirty i have recently give birth to her grandson but i am too scared to take him into the house because i know you can catch diseases from bacteria and dust mites there was a party thrown two years ago where the house got wrecked and food was thrown against the walls but too walk into the house now you would think the party was just last night as the food and that is still there. My boyfriends sister and her friends have tried numerace times to clean it but it just goes back to square one for instance 3 of her friends took 3 hours to clean the bathroom which is quite small even at that it wasn't completely spotless as they couldn't get the mould off the walls there was even rat droppings all over the bathroom and kitchen floor. the kitchen is so disgusting no one can bring thereself to eat out of it as the dishes pile up and you are not sure if they are washed properly and there is a horrible smell as you enter the house and when you come out you smell. the bed sheets are stained and horrible and so are the mattresses.you couldn't go in with white clothes on because you would come out dirty. the carpets are disgusting people have urinated in bottles and kicked them over onto the carpet which wasn't properly cleaned up. there has been instances where people has fell down the stairs because off all the clutter at the top and bottom.it has been so long since the windows have been opened as they are scared incase people can see in. there is takeaway boxes piled up from months ago with mouldy food inside.there cooker is caked with grease and would need a hammer and chisel to get through the grease and the oven is unusable so they have to live on fast food also you can't get into cupboards because of all the clothes and rubbish.there is potato pealings and food all over the kitchen floor which you have to kick out the way too get to the sink and when you reach the sink you can't use it anyway because of the amount of dishes init.PLEASE HELP KYM AND AGGIE IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED AS IT IS IN DYRE NEED OF SOME TLC.please get back THANKS

Was recently shocked when we suddenly visited some friends and found their place in a real state of disgrace. I would love to nominate them but a bit skeptical how they will react. Can the nominee be kept annonymous? Thanks & keep up the good show & excellent tips. Cheers!!!

They never wash their own pots they let them pile up for weeks before washing them from amence nagging from me the oven is unsuitable for any cooking at all which is well annoying for me as im a chef. They spill stuff on the sides and floor and they never clean it up. they havnt hovered swept mopped or polished or any type of cleaning for to months now and its the type of place you wipe ypur feet on the way out. they have a dog also who's still not house trained and when left alone he messes everywhere and they only whipe it up with a tee towel nothing else and if its theother they just pick it up and through it outside the yard out back is a big mess now to. Im affraid and well embarassed about any of my friends even coming anywhere near this house please help me help my house mates to sort this house out as they even have rats now. Please im begging. Thanks Julie Troke

  34. Dear Kim and Aggie My parents cannot really afford to keep the house in tip-top condition and they aren't the most cleanest of people. I still live at home and still bear the brunt of this uncleanliness. I do my best to clean the house but i can't clean everything as i will tire myself out and more importantly; my cleaning is not respected as the next day things are all untidy and messy again and it's frustrating for me as it makes me want to give up cleaning altogether! I try to keep my room as clean as possible but there are some places i cannot reach(like behind the wardrobe) and i am almost certain there are ant-type insects nesting there....what shall i do? I don't think we can even afford pest control! help! thankyou

  35. Dear Kim & Aggie; LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your show!!!!! Any tips on how to get rid of cockroaches? I'm very clean (I clean with bleach), but they're in my apartment and I've used every pesticide, foam blocker, insect spray, borax tablets, etc, to no avail and I'm worried about the air health quality in my kitchen due to their bodily leftovers. Me and my pug are breathing in their dust every time I open a cupboard. Help!!

  36. dear kim and aggie, I have always been a fan of how clean is your house since i can remember and i have often used the show as i reference when it comes to cleaning my own house, however lately i have noticed that when i sit to watch you on the tv i find my 6 year old son near by watching aswell and passing comment on the homes you visit. i would just like to thank you for inspiring my son to take on a spot of cleaning here and there he also takes great delight in pulling me up on things that i might have slacked on at times. Your show has been a god send, now my son keeps his things neat and tidy and often even picks up after himself. The other day he asked his sister if she wanted to play how clean is your house ( im not sure how that works lol) many thanks lisa.

  37. dear kim and aggie, i would really call upon your help for my great auntie and uncle, they are both pensioners living alone, all there life they dedicated to helping everyone they could especially children as they where unable to have any themselves, they were the kindest people i ever met and there home was always open to anyone, in there younger day they took a boy in from an orphanage and gave him a loving home, hes now a mature man living on his own thanks to them, when we were all children we loved staying there cause they made little beds on the floor, little dens with blankets there was always little fairy cakes cooking in the oven just for us kids and they did all the cleaning up themselves.my auntie at the minute has bad health problems, heart disease, cod(a lung disease)high blood pressure and to top it all she was sent to the breast clinic last week and has been told pending further tests they cant rule out cancer, all her life she has kept silly things and her house is mad cludder agin afraid to part with any of it cause it was little gifts given to her over the years, i come from a small family and to be honest we wouldnt know where to begin, i feel that she would be totaly elated if you came to her home and sorted it out for her as through all her illnesses she keeps refering to how can i ever get my house sorted, i think it would give her great peace of mind through all the heartache shes goin through to be able to enjoy sitting in a nice clean clutter free home, we as a family would be only to glad to help you also, i hope you can understand their situation, it would be nice for them to have someone give bak a little help after all they have given to the many people who crossed their path in life. thankyou so much for even taking time to read this, im sure your really busy but i hope and pray to hear from you.

  46. Dear Kim, Aggie and team, my next door neighbour is desperate for help to get her house sorted out. She is a carer for other people but never gets round to tidying for herself. She would love some help for herself and doesn't know where to start. You would have to see the cat hairs sticking to the cooker and the festoons of cobwebs before you would believe it. You might be the only people who can get this horrible house sorted out.......please help her-next-door. She needs it...........yours, Kath

  48. I wish I could have Kim and Aggie to my house to sort my housemates out! Other than washing dishes, they do nothing but leave piles of STUFF round the house. My boyfriend and I are the only ones who do any cleaning and it's getting out of hand!

  49. One of my best friends house is DISGUSTING! None of my friends ever won't to go round there but we don't know how to tell her because she is OVERSENSITIVE. Further more she always gets moody when we make up excuses! She would be heart broken if one of us nominated her family for this show!

  50. Why don't Kim and Aggie extend their expertise to schools? My daughter's school is filthy. Kim and Aggie could spearhead a national campaign, like Jamie did with the school dinners. It could be massive!
