Dirty dining room. How Clean Is Your House, Bristol

In this episode, Kim and Aggie get on their bike to help hapless Steve - or Chuckles to his hog-riding pals. He's desperate to bring his house up to scratch in time for daughter Charmaine's wedding.

Meet Chuckles

Rolls-Royce engineer Steve, or Chuckles to his biker buddies, has been living in a filthy house since his children grew up and left. In that time housework hasn't been on the agenda, with Steve preferring to buff his bike rather than his wood floor.

Kim and Aggie come to the rescue of daughter Charmaine, a bride-to-be who wants to leave from the family home on her wedding day, rather than the family hovel!

Dad Steve happily spends hours washing, buffing and polishing... his motorbike, sadly, not his Bristol home.

It's best described as a dive, and even the flies have dropped dead in disgust.

The kitchen is toxic, which is quite a problem since he loves cooking. One bedroom is a litter tray, the other a dark hole which hasn't seen daylight in years. The dining room has gone missing, although there is an impressive motorbike service department.

Kim, Aggie and Steve. How Clean Is Your House, Bristol

This is just how Steve likes it. But all that's about to change as the nation's cleaning queens Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie are on their way after a passionate plea from daughter Charmaine. She wants to leave from her dad's home on her big day, but at the moment this bride will be blushing for all the wrong reasons.

Kim and Aggie have to come up with a Reluctant Cleaner's Guide to Housework and Steve takes some convincing: will the sight of Charmaine as a bride galvanise him into action?
