3. Hi Kevin and Crew, can I say what a great show it is since it started, I'm poty on building and alterations, my family expect nothing less than a great design from me. I've drafted an extension out already - expecting our first baby in April 09. What I would like to see more in depth in the shows are about 'increasing the insulation values to prevent heat loss' - promoting this area of valuable work. Include internal wall insulation before replastering solid bwk walled properties, promote retro cavity wall insulation, promote floor and roof insulations, as if it was a complete new build. When it comes to sell or rent out properties, the insulation values means alot to increase the 'SAP' rate and not just bricks and mortar. (My proposed future extension would include roof style change to allow south facing roof slope to add flat panel solar collector linked to the H/W cylinder (and maybe photo-voltaic roof tiles if I could afford these)).
