

It's easy to assume, isn't it, that when somebody realises their childhood ambition - their dream - that somehow life thereafter is more complete, more complacent, more comfortable.
But of course, looking at what Francis and Karen have to deal with day to day, you realise that the opposite is true. That dreams are just that - they're just dreams. They're ethereal. Whereas reality of course well that has much more drudgery about it and it's harder work and it's more compromised. But reality is also - I think - more impressive, because it's tangible - and it can even be heroic.
Francis and Karen have joined a long roll call of visionaries who have taken piles of stone and built castles out of them.
