As the suppliers of engineered oak flooring to the Apprentice Store project (via the contractor, Taylor Allison), we wondered if we might be added to the list of 'where to buy everything from the show'. We visited the house this morning and heard from Ian Cooper that our flooring gets lots of admiring comments from visitors!

7. Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone knew a decent trapdoor supplier similar to what was used for this build. I have a loft with a staircase leading up to it but would like some form of hatch door rather than ballustrading. The opening is 900mm x 2500mm aprox.

14. I'm also interested in the cow picture. From what I could see it may have been one of the outfits that do stylised versions of photos, such as 'youareart'. But if this is not the case, details of a specifc artist would be appreciated. Also who was the manufacturer of the hob? I have checked the link for the kitchen company but can't see anything there. Finally, I agree on costs, it just doesn't sound right, and as the producers chose to provide no details, breakdown, etc, I suspect they had trouble believing it as well.

19. Absolutely fabulous house but we too cannot believe the cost was as low as they were suggesting. We have recently built too and ours was a much higher price per square metre and ours isn't listed. They are very lucky if they're telling the truth but we don't think it is fair to give the impression that you can get so much done for such a low cost. Still, a beautiful house and it looks as if it has been finished to a very high standard.

27. Interesting project. However, I was disappointed in the production of this episode, as I think both the owners and the production team were somewhat economical with the truth re: the total cost of the project. Very little cost information was given during the show, and I don't believe for a moment that the total cost was anything near as low as the stated figure. Our own 'grand design' in Northants is infinitely more humble than this, and is expected to come in at a significantly higher cost per square metre.

28. More about the double glazing units please. It's about time one could use something sensible like this in grade 11 listed buildings. It is the one item not listed in how to find what was used in this building.

30. THe house looks really fabulous and the stone is gorgeous - can you tell me how the barges on the roof are finished ? Did you pour them in concrete or clad them in something. We have a similar roof style and are looking for an alternative to concrete which will always need painting

32. I too would like to find out about the supplier of the double-glazed windows. Although it sounds like their planners only granted permission because it was previously a non-domestic building. I appreciate what planners are trying to do but there must be a solution for owners of listed buildings who want/need to be energy efficient.

38. Sympathetic rescue of an ugly duckling...lots of lovely warm bath stone too. Only gripe is that I couldn't find details of the glazing. Bit strange when it was such A MAJOR part of the development and permission for Grade 2 listing.
