I can't imagine David and Greta wanting to live anywhere else now.
These buildings, however, are difficult to contextualise; difficult to fit into the landscape. Because they are kit houses, they all do - sort of - look the same'.
What is clear, though, is that people can really enjoy living in them and personalising them.
What’s interesting here is how David and Greta have personalised this place – they haven’t gone shopping. Instead, they have used it as a sort of container for all the objects - all the things that they have accrued and collected and made over the years.
This house and its contents are, in a way, David and Greta’s design autobiography.
Because of meticulous planning and precision engineering, the Huf Haus can be built in just a week. That said, it's still a tricky process. Watch as a house emerges from flatbed trucks stacked with timber, steel and glass.
