3. Have to say this is one of the most inspiring bits of TV I have ever watched. I was up late last night flipping through channels unable to sleep(we are in the middle of our own build project at the moment in the Somerset country side and there's lots on my mind) and I just happened to stumble across Grand Designs...AMAZING!! Ben’s wonderful house has given me so much inspiration. I think someone else made a comment and used the word integrity...this is absolutely the right word for Ben and his beautifully creative construction...if there were lots more Bens in this world....WOW just imagine what it would be like!!! Well done Ben and his lovely family and the team at Grand Designs...what an inspiration!!

5. We were so glad to tune in to Grand Designs last night. What an absolute beautiful house Ben has built there for himself and his family! We also understand that it is possible to have a tour of the house and gardens. Could you give us some information about that?

6. The woodmans cottage is fantastic. I would like to replicate this house in my garden in the form of a workshop. Is it possible to get hold of plans, materials list, types of timber used etc?

If their ever was a grand design, this has to be the ultimate in integrity, It may not have the latest in high tech but it far more technological & ecological than the usaul stains on the earth that we call homes, If I get the chance in life to build my own home, I will take this as a lIVING life style that I would want to take part in.

9. I thought this programme was totally inspiring, especially for creative people whose talents earn them little income. I would like to know if such a design would be possible in a hot damp climate (such as a Pacific Island) and what additional precautions would be necessry to protect the local wood against infestations? 13. I first saw this episode of Grand Designs this year and thought the home Ben has created is amazing and beautiful. Me and my sister feel in love with it whilst watching the programme and would love the chance to visit. I wish Ben and his fanily every happiness in there lovely cosy home. He has created a dream for others!

14. I saw the first programme and watched the 2005 update and now this latest one. My favourite grand design. really admire Ben and his family. Also the house is really a home - something which often seems missing in many of the grand designs featured which seem more like show homes or offices! I wish ben and his family much happiness. Hope his life isn't spoilt by the publicity and fan tours too much - but have to admit I'd love to see it for myself!

22. How fantastic, if only I were brave enough. I am a tree surgeon and i am a very keen bushcraftsman/woodsman. i would love to show my young family how such passion can provide such happiness. 23. A wonderful project and what I especially like is the final images are of a lived-in and well loved HOME - goods and chattels and kids toys all over the place. A beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. So unlike many of the Grand Designs offerings which may be stunning to look at, but which are all cold shiny surfaces inside sterile boxes more suited to offices than homes.

25. I cannot imagine anywhere more satisfying to live than the woodsmans cottage, what a wonderful environment for him and his family to share. It is great that they are so in touch with nature and I envy them very much. A house like this would definitely be my dream home, I realise that he must have to work hard but it really must be so great to live in harmony with nature as they seem to do.

26. Still the best Grand Design by far (and I have seen practically all of them.) Eco friendly, and the idyllic lyfestyle only other people can dream about. Give us more... A different program maybe, showing us how we can live calmly and sensibly. Perhaps not to the extent of eutopia that Ben has but what we can do within our means !!!

27. This is still my favourite Grand Design so far..the simple beauty of it and the loving craftsmanship give me the shivers! I can't think of a nicer setting, and this house brings the man, the place and the job all together. What more does anyone need? (PS I'm not called Forest by chance - I'm a bit nuts about trees!)

29. Would Ben be able to come and visit Arundale School (an independent school for girls and boys aged 2-11 years old) in Pulborough, West Sussex to tell them about this amazing project? 31. Dear Kevin, I watched the Woodman's cottage episode last night and found it to be the best so far the simplicity, use of local materials and the whole concept was wonderful.
