Light, space and that inside outside thing, that connection with nature. Theo and Elaine wanted that, and they didn't get it from some glossy magazine, they got it by importing all the ideas they knew from experience would make them happy, would work.
This place fascinates me. Not just because it works so well for them, but also because it is so well conceived. It might work for anybody.
