A house of decagons is full of 72, 36 and 144 degree angles instead of right angles. This Decagon House is an eclectic mix of architectural styles and uses only the best materials. So how did they build it?

  1. This is so interesting to me because I want to be an architect when grow up and I want to design exotic houses kind of like what was done with the Decagon House. I do not like average homes I like to be different but not so different that it takes the seriousness away from the structure. This is a beautiful house and it is extremely inspiring to me.

I am currently building an architecturally designed home and wish to use the idea of the stair case using 40mm thick American oak treads.Please can you provide email address for Wells Fabrications ( the staircase manufacturer )So the I can obtain copy of design drawings. Your help will be much appreciated, regards John.

  4. Nice to see how the bling boys live! The outside design looks like an optical illusion. My fav room is the circular room & spa, of course! The kitchen is very alternative, never seen one like that before....a bit unsure on how many bedrooms are inside? I wonder how much time it would all take to clean, hehee.

  5. regarding oxford:the decagon house. Do you have any pictures of the the bathroom (master i think) which had all dark tiles and a big rain like shower? Like the whole house it is amazing

  6. I'm a construction management student at Oxford Brookes, and i would love the oppertunity to work with Henry in my placement year, but i cant find the firm he works at to approach him. Can you tell me?

  7. I live in Australia and I love Kevin's program. For this particular house, what I really liked was the showerhead in the ensuite of the master bedroom. Where does it come from ??? I just need to know. Pretty please catherine

  8. A masterpiece! For two years I lived at Newman College at The University of Melbourne, Australia, and the similarities between Walter Burley Griffin's design and David Williams' architecture are remarkable. I hope the architect and Henry get an opportunity to visit Newman as I'm sure they would find the adventure quite thrilling.
