For 18 months I've been banging on about how this building should enhance its context; how it has a responsibility to its setting. Well, now, despite all this mud, I have no problems. I think it's going to do its job very well.
The reason this building will perform well is because, although it's a very assertive building, it's also very subtle. It's sensitive. As Pru puts it, it's not a big and loud house, it's big and quiet.
This suggests that when the grass is grown and the planting is in, this place will sit as comfortably and flexibly as it flexibly and comfortably accommodates its occupants - which makes it, in my view, a great building. One that responds to people and to place.
