1. Absolutely fabulous! I am truly inspired by this build and the fact it is very achievable for the not so rich and weathly. Would love to see a revisit on this one a couple of years down the line....or even some photos. Definate food for thought!

4. i have been trying to find out the name of the wall insulation used in the timber house in kent,all i know about it is that a machine was used to install it,like a blower

5. If you want to know who supplied the house, then click on the suppliers tab above. I also wanted to know who supplied the windows, so I phoned the UK agent of erlund-house (the suppliers of the house), and they told me that the windows are made by Skaala windows. Their UK agent is based in Diss, Norfolk (http://www.skaala.co.uk).

8. In scandinavia three glass panes have been required by law since many, many years. There are plenty of manufacturers here in scandinavia. There is also manufacturers locate on the continent. Do a google search on the subject (elitf?nster is for instance well known provider of these windows).

10. Hello all, I was wondering.. What do you believe the barriers are, to the production of more of these ecohomes, on a mass-scale? If they are, on paper, so perfect and efficient, why don't we see large resi-developers creating them, in a much cheaper manner? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

11. I seem to recall that the home featured is an Erlund design (http://www.erlundhouse.co.uk) and if so then the triple-glazed windows supplied are part of the pre-fab kit, so you would need to question Erlund as to their supplier in turn. HTH CraigM

14. My husband has seen this episode on Dutch tv last week and is convinced we should build a house 'finnish-log-style'. Problem is: I missed it, although I've seen the video of the windows on this website (great, by the way). Could you please provide me with information on how and where I could find/buy a copy of this episode? Thank you in advance.
