Straddling the garden wall as it does, this design was always going to be two faced: part potting shed, part pavilion.
And its personality is also split: a schizophrenic mix of modernist glass box and comfy retirement home. And as a result the success of this place is also divided in equal measure. But despite all the changes Peter and Christine have made, I do think this is a beautiful house...albeit compromised.
