1. I spent many a happy weekend here @ Elmore Court when my sister and her husband were employed by the Guises, including a few Christmas' with Sir John (who has now sadly passed on), Lady Guise and then Anslem. What a wonderful family and a stately home. So many memories, I was so fortunate to be a part of Sir John & Lady Guise's lives. What beautiful grounds too. I took some friends to visit at times and one of my friends was completely overwhelmed even before we got through the grand black gates.

2. Can i ask Anselm to Marry Me? I thought he was so adorable and endearing. I dont want the house - i have one ! I would like him to cook me a good steak, whilst i light his fire xx Well we all have dreams of our prince charming...dont we!?

3. Really interesting programme, what an amazing house to inherit...When is the Cookery School Opening Please??!! I know a few people that would love to attend. Ruth Watson has a terrible manner, so patronizing, and I totally agree with the comments below regarding her continuous swearing, totally unnecessary! I wish the Guise family every success and hope to attend a class soon!

4. I love the looks of Elmore Court, it's beatuiful. I thought Ruth was quite rude to Anselm and didn't take him seriously. I think he should re-vamp the coach-house into a recording studio, for himself and for musicians as a second leg to stand on next to the cookery school - musicians could stay in the bedrooms and use the studio to record their music. 5. What a wonderful house. It look's like a delightful place to stay. As a Gloucestershire man myself I never knew about this place. Are there are details about when it will be openining its doors and what events will take place. Good luck to Anselm in his quest to keep this house and its delightful charm going

6. what a brilliant program! I have really enjoyed watching, BUT WHY WHY does Ruth have to use such bad language swearing totally spoilt it for me. there are too many lovely people on TV who think its cool to swear, and spoil their own image!!

7. I really enjoy Country House Rescue but was horrified by Ruth's swearing in tonights programme. I am not old or a prude (I'm 35)- I just don't see the need for a modern and succesful women to swear like a Navvy and it was totally out of step with the rest of the programme. It really spoiled my enjoyment of the programme and if it continues into future programmes I might just have to turn over.
