2. I am wishing this series would come to dvd or that the programme would come to BBC America. There are no houses on earth which compare to the great English Country Houses. I wish I lived closer!

5. A wonderful programme and Pentille is lucky to be one of the houses being rescued. I think the boat house would make a wonderful wedding chapel overlooking the river. When will it be opening to guests and when will the gardens be opened to the public. Living for all my life in Cornwall it will be really exciting to see it all come to fruition.

6. I was abig fan of the hotel inspector and was very sorry to have missed this program, due to the fact that we moved to the republic of irelsnd 14 months ago and are unable to get channel four. I hope it comes on irish tv.

7. I love the programme and think that Ruth is doing a very valuable job helping to save these wonderful houses. But I wonder why Ruth does not take the people involved to see the examples of comparable successful businesses. If they saw for themselves what contemporary design and organisation looks like they would surely be more likely to be persuaded? And a niggle with your website - I too am totally frustrated at being unable to find out what day and at what time this programme is on. Or has the series finished - in which case could you make this clear?

Having been a past employee for 12 years on the Great Fulford Estate in Devon, I can appreciate all the tremendously hard work, worry and stress that has gone on to make Pentillie such a wonderful place once more. It is vital that English Heritage such as this be preserved at all costs. You as a family, appear to be exactly the right kind of people to take Pentillie forward into the future. Both my wife and I look forward to visiting the Estate in the Spring. My very best wishes to you all.

10. Really enjoyed the programe on Pentille, what a wonderfull house and location!I look foward to visiting in the not too distant future.I would also like to know a bit more about the history of the house and particularly the last occupant, the widow Kit ,she strikes me as avery sad person.

12. Just caught the Pentillie episode. Interesting, would be much more captivating if the houses were covered over a longer time period, and more detail was provided. Ruth is obviously very expert in her field, but she'd be a lot more pleasant to listen to if her voice was less strident and shrill. Voice training is a wonderful thing, and avoids escalation of conflict.
