2. Hi, this probably sounds a bit strange but in this episode they show a painting of penguins in an Andy Warhol style. I think its when they are in the couple's London home. Has anyone noticed this and if so, where it can be gotten?? Thanks!

5. i am a bit late in watching this programme watching it on one of the cable channels this week but i hope you can still help me, i would like to get in touch with companies that require day hire of properties, i live in the central belt of scotland, just outside Glasgow. many thanks for your help. 9. Enjoyed the programme very much. However, I seem unable to Google it as I was curious to see whether John had been successful in marketing the house for the day hire venue. Tags would be useful in promoting it.

10. What a fantastic programme! ruth is an inspiration to us all. chesters is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen and should be a national treasure. It's vital that we maintain these beautiful houses so we keep our heritage. Regards Racheal

11. The programme on Chesters was very interesting, but one thing annoyed me. There is no such thing as "Grade 1" listed buildings in Scotland, an error that was repeated throughout the programme and on the website. Chesters is a "Category A" listed building. English Heritage does not operate in Scotland (clue is in the name). Historic Scotland have a different listing system with different criteria and categories that are not direct equivalents of the English grades. Who does the research and writes for these programmes? I don't think it's nit-picking: this is an unfortunate indicator of poor research and/or knowledge about our built heritage. As an architectural historian I'd be happy to advise!

12. That derelict east wing that was shown on the progamme need not be a money pit. Make it weather proof and structurally secure, then rent it out as a photo shoot and film set - it's got bags of atmosphere. Studios spend a fortune creating something like it! There are location finding agencies that will deal with all the marketing and the donkey work. Restrict the people that hire it, to just that wing only - so that their activities are not invasive of the main house.

13. If this property is in Scotland then we do not have a category 1 listed building. English Heritage uses grade 1 and 2 and Historic Scotland use category A, B and C(S).
