Abbey Dore Court

Abbey Dore Court: An Update

Since Ruth filmed at Abbey Dore Court, the whole house was obscured by scaffolding. A new roof and loving internal restoration means that Abbey Dore Court is now available for holiday rentals, albeit not as the bed and breakfast that Ruth envisaged.

Charis' impeccable gardens remain open to the public, while Clare's tea room will be open seven days a week from April to October. The future of Abbey Dore Court might not be guaranteed, but it looks brighter than it has for decades.
