Take one Englishman with dreams of making his own red wine, a few sceptical French locals, a girl from Birmingham and a dog called Harry. Place together in a small organic vineyard in stunning rural France. Then mix with bad weather, financial uncertainty, health scares, wild boar and a sprinkling of cow manure. The result? A perfect recipe for success... or disaster?

I have been watching Chateau Monty avidly and the effect it has had on me is outstanding! As we all approach the new year I am turning to change my life around and start a self sufficient way of life by growing my own produce and even going off to market to get some hens! Linzie has has an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity and I have been so envious of all the wonderful knowledge and experiences she has picked up on her journey. If I could step into a future Chateau Monty experience I would be first in the queue! Although saying that, I'm 27, a make-up artist and have never even grown mould, let alone a vineyard! All I know is I want to try and first step for me will be to grow my own veg.......wine maybe in years to come?! So thank thank you thank you thank you for such a fantastic show!
